Do you embrace personal customer interaction, making introductions and succeeding in a new business development role?  If so, NAN would like to learn more about you and our New Lender Relationship Specialist role in Sales!

We have an exciting opportunity at NAN calling on financial institutions that have already selected NAN as an approved AMC (Appraisal Management Company).  This role will bring awareness to warm lender leads and educate these contacts on everything NAN has to offer as an AMC partner.  We are looking for an enthusiastic Lender Relationship Specialist that will be responsible for branch-level business development and client relationship growth with NAN’s new lender partners.

NAN supports a “virtual” office with employees spread across the country. This is a remote (work-from-home) opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build a daily call plan and faithfully execute that plan to consistently meet productivity goals, measured daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Educate and develop target accounts to create sales-ready contacts and opportunities to hand off to regional sales managers (RSMs).
  • Research warm leads, locate contact information, build database of prospects in Salesforce, and develop strategies to target retail lending accounts.
  • Connect with prospect clients via phone, email, and through other social media touch points.
  • Help create and prioritize strategic target account lists and contacts within a defined territory; research accounts, identify key players and generate interest through discovery calls and email campaigns.
  • Generate sales-ready meetings and qualified opportunities for Regional Sales Managers (RSM) following NAN qualification criteria.
  • Understand and uncover customer needs and business problems and effectively communicate how NAN can solve them.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of NAN products and competitive advantages.
  • Use and maintain the Salesforce.com system according to NAN standards; provide metrics on leads; maintain detailed account profiles and lead progress.
  • Work closely with the Sr. Regional Sales Manager and sales & marketing team to drive continuous improvement in lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline generation.
  • Contribute to national revenue growth objectives and goals.
  • Document daily activities and coordinate with Sr. Regional Sales Manager and Salesforce.

Limited travel required to support Sales at conferences and industry events.  Travel will be limited to 4-5 trips per year and expenses will be reimbursed according to the NAN Travel Policy.

Supports VP of Sales and RSMs with specific retail lender business development projects and initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Highly organized self-starter with a strong focus on results
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of inside sales experience selling B2B financial services, Appraisal Management Company, financial services or real estate experience is preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce, Office365, LinkedIn and AppraisalScope is preferred

Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate both verbal and in writing
