FAQ

Can the same cell number be used to opt into AppraiseConnect for multiple appraisers?

No, each appraiser must have a unique cell number to opt in successfully.

Once opted-in, do appraisers get the text message only when an order is being auto-assigned or will they also get a text for bid requests?
AppraiseConnect will only send a text to appraisers when an actual order has been assigned to that appraiser.  These are live active orders.
I just updated my cell number in my profile and when I attempt to opt-in, I get a message that the cell number is invalid. Am I doing something wrong?

No, but it’s important to note, that there is a 15-minute delay for the system to update before it will recognize the new cell number.

Will appraisers receive text and email notifications for order assignment, or will they ONLY be notified through text, if they are opted in to AppraiseConnect?

Appraisers will continue receiving emails from Appraisal Scope as they normally would.  AppraiseConnect users will receive both email and text.

Will texts be sent outside of business hours?

Our system is designed to send text notifications only during our business hours, which are from 8 AM to 9 PM, relevant to the recipient’s time zone. There are rare edge cases where a text may be sent an hour before or after these hours, but such instances are uncommon.If an order is assigned at midnight, the text notification will be sent at 8 AM the next day.

Will I receive texts for order updates from NAN’s team?

No, our system is designed to send you texts only when a new offer is available or when it’s time to schedule your inspection. You can accept the assignment, communicate with the point of contact, and schedule your inspection all through your phone.

How long will the offer be eligible for acceptance?

Our process checks orders assigned to you every 15 minutes. If you have consented to receiving texts from us, you will receive a text notification and will have 60 minutes to decide if the assignment is right for you.

If the link has expired but you can still accept the assignment, please call us at (phone line) or email us at (nan email) and reference the File Number. If the order is still available, you may still be considered!
