Making a habit of accomplishing the impossible. Part III

Making a habit of accomplishing the impossible.

This month, Nationwide Appraisal Network (NAN) spotlights Joni Pilgrim, Co-Founder and Director of Sales & Business Development.

Part 3 of our 3 part series

We recently sat down with Joni Pilgrim, who shared details about her life, about the success of NAN, the importance of its people and the core value of upholding the promise of quality and service to its clients.

What are your plans for NAN as we approach the end of the year?

“While there are so many things we want to share with the lending world, the most important is making sure we stand true to our policies. Today, NAN is viewed as experts in residential appraisals. We are honored for this recognition and are committed to upholding the promise of delivering excellence in customer service and quality control. We pledge to continue educating clients, and the consumer, in navigating through the complexities of the business while sharing our knowledge base that greatly improves their business. Our growth plans are evident in the tradeshow circuit this year as we focus on letting our lender clients and financial industry partners know that we are a resource to them. I would like to also add that we will NEVER stop improving! Our brand is dynamic and smart. We want people to be excited to work with NAN. We are a company built upon the people that work here. I want to let the industry know that this is truly what makes NAN different”.

What does the right customer service delivery mean to you and who executes delivery when a call comes in to NAN?

“Relationships matter a great deal to me. Customer Service is the core of my fiber, extending through to our business. Being a web-based company, excellence in delivering customer service is everything to me. There is no such thing as phone call round robin at NAN. There is one main point of contact, meaning there is one client relation’s manager assigned to each client. NAN understands the value of proportioning a proper balance in client relation’s management, which equates to overall better business.

So how do you manage growth in your company?

“Growth for a company can be scary and amazing both at the same time. We realize the importance of selecting the best people and have carefully designed a unique culture at NAN that is based on a respect and teamwork. We are a close-knit team and I am proud to say that most of the members on the team have been with NAN for a long time. I believe the closeness and camaraderie among the team comes from the fact that we apply our work ethics within NAN from our values in our lives, being a good person and respecting each other, helping, communicating, teaching and learning from each other. By simply applying respectful life-skill management with realistic expectations into our business philosophy, we retain the best people in industry”.

Is there anything you want to share with us about your family life?

“Family life is amazing. I am fortunate to experience home/work life balance, which allows me to be who I am”.

When not at work, Joni enjoys spending time engaging in the surface water sport of paddle-boarding, riding bikes on the local trail, reading and appreciating the crystal clear gulf coast waters of Florida with her husband and two children.

If you’d like to contact Joni Pilgrim she’d love to hear from you!
